A letter has been sent to the president with more than 200 signatures

A letter has been sent to the president with more than 200 signatures. The letter emphasizes that Adnan Hajizada and Emin Milli were arrested without any ground and asks for their release. The information was given to Radio Liberty by the member of AN network Vafa Jafarova:

"In the letter, we reminded the president about the obligations he undertook to fulfill when he was swearing to the constitution. The president swore to protect the rights of all citizens, hence he should do that. Because he is everyone's president and should fulfill this mission."

According to Vafa Jafarova, they don't want a pardon for Adnan Hajizada and Emin Milli, but want to prove their innocence.

Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizada were arrested on July 8 because of incident in restaurant "Lebanese" and are accused of hooliganism. The court took a decision of 2 months preliminary arrest for both of them.

Many international human rights organizations consider the accusations of hooliganism totally groundless.
