Mjaft expresses its concern about Adnan and Emin's arrest

“This is not an isolated struggle of the activists in Azerbaijan. This is our common struggle to break with our past political legacy”

Ervin Qafmolla, Mjaft's Policy Coordinator has contacted OL! Movement expressing his deep concerns about Adnan and Emin's arrest. He informed OL! Movement about the statement Mjaft has prepared. He also informed us that the statement was sent to OSCE office in Albania, European Commission as well as American and all EU embassies.

Mjaft notes that at this point the question is not simply criticizing the situation, but rather offering direct support to those "who stand for the values we all believe in." Mjaft supports Adnan and Emin by saying: "this is not an isolated struggle of the activists in Azerbaijan. This is our common struggle to break with our past political legacy."

Mjaft (Albanian for Enough) is the most prominent Albanian youth organization committed to raising awareness of many political and social problems facing Albania. Mjaft is Albania's largest movement with 8,000 members, more than 1,000 volunteers and branches in 18 cities country-wise. It was awarded the annual United National International Award for Civil Society in 2004.
